The old school house, 1 mile south of Sherwood, Tenn., at the Big Spring is made of cedar logs, built about 1890. It was used for many years as a voting place. Anthony Bledsoe and Elmer Sherwood were the teachers. The old Sycamore log in the foreground has 258 rings in it.
