Valley history and heritage
A gift for future generations

In the days before fast food and freezers, families would put the bounty of the summer and fall harvest in glass jars and set them aside to be enjoyed later in the winter. Though it’s not as common today, sharing jars of “preserves” with others is still a way of strengthening the bonds of family and friends.
The Crow Creek Heritage Preservation Society has been formed and has as itsgoal the preservation of a bounty ofstories, traditions, photographs and other items from Crow Creek Valley. In the tradition of sharing jars of “preserves,’ it is hoped that the CCHPS will be a way to strengthen the bonds of family and friends from Crow Creek and to preserve the heritage and history of the valley for later generations.
